The 71T3580 is a sprung CLIP top concealed hinge for standard overlay cabinet doors. Its straight hinge arm and versatile 110 opening angle make it suitable for kitchen cabinets, bedroom furniture, cupboards and fitted storage.

This version uses Blums knock-in hinge-cup fixing, with pre-mounted dowels designed for accurately prepared fixing holes. It is particularly suitable for repeat workshop and production installation where a consistent drilling pattern and mechanical insertion equipment are available.

The 71T3580 has a sprung, self-closing action but does not include integrated BLUMOTION soft closing.

Technical specifications

Knock-in hinge-cup installation

The hinge cup incorporates pre-mounted dowels that are pressed into two accurately drilled 8mm fixing holes beside the main 35mm cup drilling. A suitable insertion ram or workshop press should be used to install the hinge evenly without damaging the cup or dowels.

Knock-in and INSERTA are different fixing systems. INSERTA uses a tool-free locking mechanism, whereas the 71T3580 uses mechanically inserted dowels.

For conventional screw fixing, choose the 71T3550 screw-on hinge. For tool-free cup fixing, choose the 71T3590 INSERTA hinge.

Sprung closing without integrated soft close

The internal spring pulls the cabinet door into its closed position. This hinge does not contain a BLUMOTION damper.

Choose the 71B3580 BLUMOTION knock-in hinge when integrated soft closing and the same knock-in fixing method are required.

Mounting plate required

A compatible CLIP mounting plate must be ordered separately. The appropriate plate height depends on the cabinet construction, cup drilling distance and required door overlay.
